CURLY AFRO HAIRSTYLESare naturally drier than smooth hairs, because by their structure the natural fats of the scalp do not get to the hair tips. Frequent washing enhances the effect.
Protect your hair by washing 1 to 2 times a week! It may sound disgusting, but it does not have to be: You can refresh your approach between, for example, through a mixture of coconut and mint oil or a special powder. But you will soon realize that it will not be necessary, because curly afro hairstyles hardly grease!
Shampoo can quickly curl curls. I recommend to use a conditioner (rinse or hair treatment) instead of the shampoo for washing!
The most important for living curls is moisture. Above all, curly afro hairstyles need daily care. The best is a combination of water, leave-in-conditioner (care without rinsing) and oils.
Afro hair can be unraveled with your fingers. For this purpose, you use any oil (eg coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil or argan oil) that is distributed in the hair. Then carefully share your hair with clamps in 4 or more sections and unravel the section by section with your fingers
I cannot stress enough how harmful the chemical smoothing cream from the Afro shop is! The ingredients are extremely aggressive: they destroy the hair structure, dry the hair, irritate the scalp and sometimes quite honest – smooth looks different and the smell that stays in your hair for weeks is really unpleasant.
Lastly, don’t forget to give your hair a break: open hairs rub the clothes off and knot easily.
